Stitch Box Bag Kit - Blue Jays

This is a kit for making a box bag using our free tutorial: Box Bag tutorial - Stitch Sew Shop.

The Box Bag is a handy pouch that is just the right size for traveling.  Make yourself a sewing machine kit, or use it as a project bag to toss in your purse.  They also make great gifts!  


Included in the kit:

• 1 fat quarter* exterior fabric
• 1 fat quarter interior fabric
• 0.5 yard medium weight woven interfacing (Pellon SF101)
• 1 fat quarter fusible fleece (Pellon 987F)
• 1 zipper (14")

You will also need:

• coordinating thread
• machine needles (we recommend Universal needles, size 80/12)

*A fat quarter is a half yard of fabric, cut in half again across the width.  For most quilting cottons, this ends up being 18" x 22".

Finished dimensions: 9" long x 4" wide x 4" deep
