Garment Class :: The Trillium Dress & Top
Our Garment Classes are all about making classic garments that build your sewing skills and your wardrobe at the same time!
- Pre-requisite: You have completed our Beginner Series, or have equivalent sewing experience.
- Project: The Trillium Dress & Top from Made by Rae. You will make either the dress or top in class.
- Materials Needed:
- the Trillium pattern (included in class registration)
- light to medium weight woven fabric, plus notions as noted in the pattern
- universal machine needles in the appropriate size for your fabric
- matching thread (100% polyester all-purpose)
- Prep-work: pattern traced in your size, and your fabric washed and dried
- Skills learned: sewing darts and pleats; creating side seam pockets; finishing necklines and armholes with facings; using elastic thread to create shirring
This three-session class includes nine hours of instruction, and will focus on construction.

Classes are for adults 18+
Cancellation Policy : Registrations are non-refundable; no refunds will be given. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
