Mini Workshop :: Sierra Tote & Bin

This is the mini workshop version of our popular Sierra Tote class!
That means you'll spend the day in our cozy workspace at Stitch with fellow sewists, enjoy lunch together and six hours of instruction, take your bag making to the next level, and leave with a completed Sierra Tote or Sierra Bin at the end of the day.
- Pre-requisite: You have completed our Beginner Series, or have equivalent sewing experience, and have some experience with bag making.
- Project: The Sierra Tote & Bin from Indigo Bird, a perfect bag to organize sewing and craft projects
- Materials needed:
- pattern (included with class registration)
- 3/4 yard of medium to heavy weight woven fabric for bag outside
- 3/4 yard of quilting cotton for bag lining
- 3/4 yard medium weight interfacing (like Pellon 809)
- 1 1/4 yard SF101
- 1 yard of 1" wide cotton webbing (for tote); 1/2 yard of 1" webbing (for bin)
- matching thread
- universal sewing machine needles, size 90/14
- Prep-work: You will need to come to class with your fabric and interfacing cut out, and the interfacing fused in place.
- Skills learned: applying fusible interfacing; basic bag construction

Classes are for adults 18+
Cancellation Policy : Registrations are non-refundable; no refunds will be given. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
