Mini Workshop :: The Appleton Dress
This is the mini-workshop version of our popular garment class!
That means you'll spend the day in our cozy workspace at Stitch with fellow sewists, enjoy lunch together and six hours of instruction, learn all about sewing with knits, and leave with a completed dress at the end of the day.
The Appleton Dress from Cashmerette is a classic knit wrap dress (available in two size ranges, 0-18 and 12-32), perfect for practically any occasion and multiple seasons!
- Pre-requisite: You have completed our Beginner Series, or have equivalent sewing experience.
- Project: The Appleton Dress from Cashmerette (included with class registration).
- Materials needed: knit fabric and notions, as noted in the pattern, plus Swedish Tracing Paper
- Prep-work: pattern traced in your size, and fabric washed and dried.
- Skills learned: accurately cutting knits, transferring pattern marks to fabric, sewing with knits, grading between sizes, making small size adjustments, making refined size choices

Classes are for adults 18+
Cancellation Policy : Registrations are non-refundable; no refunds will be given. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
