Intro to Quilting

Interested in quilting, but not quite sure where to start? This is the class for you! Over two weeks, you'll learn how to accurately cut, assemble, and bind your own mini quilt.
- Pre-requisite: you have completed our Beginner Series, our Quilting Primer, or have equivalent sewing experience.
- Project: A 16 inch square mini quilt.
- Materials: Quilting cottons 2 colors:
- 1 yard of printed main fabric
- 1/2 yard of solid background color
- 3/4 yard cotton batting (or at least 20" x 20" square)
- coordinating machine sewing thread
- machine needles (80/12 and 90/14)
- Skills learned: Accurate cutting & piecing; quilting terminology, different kinds of pre-cuts; tips for accurate seams and intersections; machine quilting; machine binding and finishing; and more.

Classes are for adults 18+
Cancellation Policy : Registrations are non-refundable; no refunds will be given. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
