Garment Series :: Emerald Dress

The Emerald Dress is the perfect, breezy, bias-cut summer staple. Make one with us in this three-session class!

Our Garment Series is all about making classic garments that build your sewing skills and your wardrobe at the same time.

• Pre-requisite: You have completed our Beginner Series, or have equivalent sewing experience.
• Project: The Emerald Dress from Made by Rae (included with class registration).
• Materials needed: fabric and notions, as noted in the pattern, plus Swedish Tracing Paper
• Prep-work: pattern traced in your size, and fabric washed and dried.  
• Skills learned: accurately cutting patterns on the bias, pattern matching (if necessary), transferring pattern marks to fabric, sewing with bias cut fabrics, applying hem, sleeve, and neckline facings

Visit the shop to pick up your pattern (included with the class), and get help choosing your fabric and notions.

Classes are for adults 18+.  We offer individual lessons for those younger.

Cancellation Policy : Registrations are non-refundable; no refunds will be given. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
