Underwear
Make a cute pair of low-rise bikini underwear and sharpen your skills sewing with knits at the same time!
- Pre-requisite: You have completed our Beginner Series, or have equivalent sewing experience.
- Project: Acacia Underwear from Megan Nielsen (pattern included with class registration)
- Materials needed
- 1/2 yard light weight knit fabric (we recommend cotton or bamboo jersey)
- 4 yards 5/8" wide fold over elastic
- ballpoint/jersey needles, size 80/12
- thread that matches the elastic (all-purpose 100% polyester)
- Prep work: pattern traced in your size, and fabric washed and dried (elastic does not need to be pre-washed)
- Skills learned: cutting and sewing with knits, applying fold over elastic, the burrito method for enclosing seams
All materials can be purchased at the shop. Visit the shop to pick up your pattern, and get help picking out your fabric and notions!

Cancellation Policy : Registrations are non-refundable; no refunds will be given. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
