Beginner Series :: Part Two :: The Stitch Tote

This is the second class in our popular Beginner Series. Apply your new skills to creating something beautiful and useful!

Pre-requisite: Beginner Series :: Part One :: The Primer, or equivalent sewing experience.
Project: The Stitch Tote Bag, a fully lined tote with cotton webbing straps.
Materials needed:
- 1/2 yard woven fabric for outside of bag
- 1/2 yard woven fabric for bag lining
- 1 1/2 yards 1.5" wide cotton webbing for straps
- 1/2 yard fusible fleece interfacing (Pellon 987F)
- 1 yard lightweight woven interfacing (Pellon SF101)
- matching thread (100% polyester all-purpose thread)
Prep Work: supplies must be purchased prior to the start of class. Please allow 15-20 minutes to select and purchase your supplies.
Skills learned: cutting fabric with a rotary cutter, maintaining seam allowance, applying fusible interfacing, topstitching

Classes are for adults 18+

Cancellation Policy : Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. No refunds will be given. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
