Our Selfless Sewing Series is designed to give you an opportunity to make some great gifts for those on your holiday gift list. Of course, if you make something for yourself, we'll never tell!

• Pre-requisite: You have completed our Beginner Series, or have equivalent sewing experience.
• Project: A traditional, 4-fold necktie
• Materials needed: (pattern included with class registration) 
  • 1 yard of light to medium weight woven fabric for the necktie
  • 1/4 yard of contrasting fabric for the lining (tie "tips")
  • An old necktie you can take apart to upcycle the interfacing, OR 1 yard of wool blend necktie interfacing
  • matching thread (100% polyester all purpose thread)
  • universal machine sewing needles, size 80/12
• Skills learned: accurately cutting fabric on the bias, how to sew bias seams, how to use sew-in interfacing, how to do the blind stitch by hand.

Classes are for adults 18+

Cancellation Policy : Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. No refunds will be given. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
