In this introductory class, you will learn:
how to read a commercial sewing pattern
how to select the correct size
pattern tracing, marking, and cutting
laying out pattern pieces on fabric
cutting fabric
seam finishing
elastic casing
hemming
Two sessions, three hours each.
This class may also be taken as part of our popular Beginner Series.

Classes are for adults 18+. We offer individual lessons for those younger.
All participants will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to take this class. Anyone who does not comply with this rule may be removed from the class without a refund.

This class is appropriate for you if you have taken our Primer or Machine Sewing :: In Practice (Tote) classes, or have equivalent experience.
