The perfect follow-up to our Primer Class, this class will give you the opportunity to put into practice what you have learned. In this three hour class, you will gain confidence using the rotary cutter, practice maintaining a consistent seam allowance, and do a bit of top stitching.

In this class you will learn to make hand towels and/or napkins, finished beautifully with mitered corners. These would make a perfect gift, or use them to add a handmade touch to your holiday table.

In this class you will make a traditional necktie, completely personalized with your own choice of fabric. You'll learn how to cut fabric on the bias, how to use sew-in interfacing, and all of the hand stitching skills needed to make this one-of-a-kind gift. This class is Level II. Instructor: Valerie Cancellation Policy : Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment.

If you have taken our Garment Making :: An Introduction class, then you are already familiar with our beloved Stitch Pajama Pants pattern. Now you can take your PJs to the next level by adding inseam pockets and a drawstring waistband! In this class, you will learn how to: sew inseam pockets, finish seam allowances using a serger, understitch a seam, create a partial elastic drawstring, and sew buttonholes on a machine. This class is Level II. Garment Making :: An Introduction, or equivalent sewing experience, is a prerequisite for this class.

Have you been avoiding making garments with buttons because buttonholes scare you? Or maybe you just want to improve your technique? Either way, this class is for you. You will learn the correct way to sew on a button, when and how to reinforce, and how to correctly size and sew your buttonholes using the automatic buttonhole function on the sewing machine. This class is Level II. You are level two if you have completed our Garment Sewing :: An Introduction class or our Beginner Series.
